We’re working with the Energy Networks Association (ENA) to carry out research on behalf of the companies that distribute gas throughout the UK, and we need your help.
Our research will be carried out for national gas transmission system owner, National Grid Gas Transmission, and the four gas distribution network (GDN) companies; Cadent, Northern Gas Networks, SGN and Wales & West Utilities. If you work closely with these companies, whether it’s in government, the utility sector, energy, consumer and fuel poverty groups, think tanks or in innovation, we need your insight.
To make sure that all gas network companies keep your bills as low as possible and continually improve their service, they are regulated by Ofgem under a price control framework called RIIO. Under RIIO, the gas network companies need to submit a business plan to Ofgem setting out how they’ll meet their RIIO objectives.
We need stakeholders’ input and opinions on these plans to help create the right long-term priorities and ensure the best outcomes for customers and stakeholders. The first step is a 10-minute telephone survey.
